Oops

Well, we got to bed way too late tonight, and then it got extended even further by the late arrival of my husband and the squeak of the front door alerting my daughter to his presence. So, cool that we both got to be with him before we went to bed, but also not cool that we stayed up even later than we already had ended up doing.

On the silver lining front, I did get her entire Fall skirt finished and mine fully cut out and ironed and hemmed. Now, I just need to put the pieces of mine together (and figure out the pockets), and it’ll be done, too. Hopefully, tomorrow. Fun, but not fun that it felt like a trade-off. Though, I only worked on my skirt because she was still so wired, and I didn’t want to have to fight her to get her to bed.
