Man, some days, it just feels like the world crushes you like a bug, and then you end up thinking of that final fight scene in Men in Black, and you get totally grossed out at the idea of all those bugs being squashed and eeeewwwww-ickk-gross!

Unexpectedly attended a baseball game this evening… and then rushed across town to another baseball game for little boys. It was good fun, and it was silly at times.

Right about now, I am missing my old Golden Retrievers. It has been roughly 16 or 18 years since the father died, and a handful of years fewer for the sun… and yet, here we are, missing them, almost suddenly.
I want those hugs and loves and belly rubs. That was an amazing time in life.
And I want something more nowadays, please.

Some days, you just take a spontaneous trip to pick up – dig up, more like – a small garden’s worth of plants, some edible and others not,as well as a bunch of old bricks and maps and various randok items. Sometimes, it can even be a family affair and end in a crawfish dinner.
Those are truly the days.

smelling a scent
